About Us
Established in 1980, Valley Veterinary Hospital has been under new ownership since Dr. Gill purchased the practice in September of 2012. Since then, he has maintained the mission to provide exceptional quality care at reasonable and affordable prices. We are located in central Modesto, just off McHenry facing Fairmont Ave.
Dr. Gill is the head of our hospital and veterinary team. He is deeply devoted to furthering the human/animal bond for his clients. The number one goal of our friendly staff of doctors, registered technicians and assistants is to provide the best care and treatment available to you and your pet. Client education is also important to us, so please don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly team members any questions you may have.

Gurnam Gill, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Gill is deeply devoted to furthering the human/animal bond for his clients. His number one goal is to provide the best care and treatment available to you. An alumni of Louisiana State University, Dr Gill enjoys spending his free time reading and traveling with his family. He lives in Modesto with his wife, children, and pets Radar, Elsa and Biscuit.
Angelina
Registered Veterinary Technician, Manager
Angelina has been working in our hospital as our head technician since July of 2012. She is Fear Free Certified, as well as Low Stress Handling Certified. She enjoys spending her free time quietly reading with her cat and walking her dog.
Julia
Registered Veterinary Technician
Julia joined our team in May of 2018, and became licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician in April of 2019. She enjoys reading and writing, and spending time with her three pets.
Michelle
Veterinary Assistant
Michelle joined Valley Vet in February of 2013, and is in charge of all food services. She likes spending her free time crafting, tending to her pets, husband and children.
Sasha
Veterinary Assistant
Sasha joined our team March 2017. She is currently studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She enjoys spending her free time with her two pets, drawing, and tending to her plants.
Brittney
Veterinary Assistant
Brittney started with Valley Veterinary in January 2019. She recently graduated her RVT program and is studying to take her boards. She enjoys spending her free time tending to her horses, pig, and dogs.
Selena
Veterinary Assistant
Selena has been with our hospital since May of 2018. An avid gamer, Selena is bilingual and enjoys walking her dogs, playing with her cat, and spending time with her family.
